Central Asia debut! SUNPURE Saturn component installation robot helps upgrade the Uznawoi project to become more intelligent
Recently, China Energy Engineering Group held a public open day and an intelligent construction observation activity for the Nawaoui photovoltaic project in Uzbekistan. The SUNPURE Saturn module installation robot, as the core highlight of the event, was put into actual operation on site and became the focus of the entire event. Government departments, research institutions, investors, and several authoritative Chinese and Uzbek media from both sides attended the event.
At the event site, the Saturn robot demonstrated the complete process of automatic component picking, precise positioning, and efficient installation. With stable performance, it interpreted the intelligent upgrade direction of human-machine collaboration. The Saturn robot can cover various application scenarios, flexibly adapt to 1P/2P horizontal single-axis and fixed supports, and be compatible with mainstream component sizes in the market. It has already been put into practical use in multiple regions in China and the Middle East, with an average fault-free operation time of over 1,000 hours. The robot can work stably in various harsh environments such as high temperatures and high altitudes, and has wide system compatibility and environmental adaptability. The Nawaoui photovoltaic power station is the first project in Central Asia to apply component installation robots on a large scale, and it is also the first project in the local area to achieve intelligent operation of robots during construction, operation, and cleaning stages. This region has abundant light resources, but it is located at a high latitude, and during the construction period, the temperature is as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius. The traditional manual installation method is severely affected by the temperature. To address this challenge, the project introduced the Saturn robot to ensure construction efficiency and operational safety. At the same time, by guiding local Uzbeks to participate in human-machine collaboration, the labor intensity and operational risks were effectively reduced, and the intelligent operation level of local workers was improved.
